The HERMES Team
Two groups in one project
The HERMES Team is composed of students from the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland (HES-SO). The group, composed of 18 members, is divided into two areas of study: mechanical engineering and microtechnology.
The mechanical team handles the conception and the thermal system, and the microtechnology team is in charge of the electronics, software, and regulation.
Diverse backgrounds, forming a stronger team
The HES-SO (our university) requires every student to have a previous work experience in an engineering field before starting their Bachelor degree. This means every member of our team has worked previously in various fields, such as railway engineering, automation, energy production and even space business. This gives us a multidisciplinary approach to the project.
